Homage to Anais Nin
Ok, if I have a daughter I would like to call her Anais, so she will be Anais Rizman, (pretty exotic?hehe). I am beginning to fall in love with her writing, I am halfway through Henry and June, yes, me knowing me, a cheapskate found the book in the library. Here are some of her beautiful quotes:
"We are like sculptors, constantly carving out of others the image we long for, need, love or desire, often against reality, against their benefit, and always, in the end, a disappointment, because it does not fit them."
"We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are."
