Tough Till I Die by Sweet Sight Films

The film that never was, a 1997 D-I-Y production, directed by Aaron Kao, featuring Jeremy Sharma, Keith Su, Ginette Oh and myself. A story about a punk and a vegan. Now watching it again, its like a cross between Crime Watch and CDIS programme. Enjoy!

From The Most to The Least

Something from the memory lane, the first performance with Tiramisu in costume at YMS, I found this tape in the archive, so its really priceless this one, a week before this gig, Jeremy got hospitalised. So we went ahead and we decided to celebrate Helloween on Valentine's Day. This was 6 years ago...

Monsoon is coming!

Had a great dinner with Gani and Jecko, they were from the original cast of Lear. I was with Jecko last February in Osaka for the dance festival, he was here for '5 Pieces', the contemporay Indonesian Dance showing at the museum.

Hanging out at Gilles', a very cosy place and I used to work around the corner, making big ass props for parties.

I have been addicted to watching Heroes (Season 1) lately, me and Sab bought the whole season while doing our odd shopping at Mustafa. I've always wanted to watch it but never had the time. And we got hooked watching it the past 2 nights or so. The creator of Heroes Tim Kring also created Misfits of Science, one of my favourite 80s superheroes show.

Nothing much has happened, rolling around in rocks, entertaining international friends who came over, preparing for Tiramisu's gig at The Esplanade. I love wasting time when there is nothing to do...you really have to enjoy the art of idling, like what Henry Miller would say, only when you idle you will bump into ideas.

Well, this could be a very 'Mat' sensibility, but I need this rest after a long year...

A message from the council, ".... we want you to meet curators from Shanghai and Taiwan, but we are looking for a translator for you."
